US manual — the maintenance intervals are 4000 miles / 6000 km, or 6 months. European manuals — the maintenance intervals are 10000 km / 6000 mi, or 12 months. The valve service interval for the MT-09 is more similar, 26600 The dealer doesn't do anything to "unlock" the bike after 620 miles. It's just an oil change and checking torque specs ect. I did mine myself and likely saved $300+. There's YT videos on how to reset the service light and oil change intervals. It also doesn't void the warranty if you use the recommended oil.
